Typical Measurement Challenges
Raw water and sludge lines abrade and coat sensors. Open channels and deep wells make level measurement awkward. Remote pump stations are unmanned, so instruments must report back over telemetry. And utilities need billing-grade flow accuracy on both intake and discharge.
Which WELK Instruments Fit
- Electromagnetic flow meters (WKLD series) — DN10 to DN3000, with PTFE or rubber liners and corrosion-resistant electrodes, for raw water, treated water and sludge. Accuracy up to ±0.3% of reading. Integral, remote and submersible-remote versions are available for flow chambers and valve pits.
- Ultrasonic level meters — non-contact level measurement for sumps, channels and chemical tanks, with integrated and split versions covering ranges from 3 m up to 70 m.
- Submersible hydrostatic level transmitters — 316L stainless steel probes for wells, reservoirs and wet wells, with anti-corrosion versions for aggressive media.
- Pressure transmitters — such as the TY812 2088-type for pump discharge monitoring and network pressure points.
