WELK Meters manufactures industrial temperature instruments covering -200 °C to +1300 °C: armored thermocouples (types S, K and E) with GH3030, 304 or 316 stainless sheaths for furnaces and high-temperature processes, PT100 resistance temperature detectors for water, HVAC and general process duty, bimetal dial thermometers for local indication, digital thermometers, and integrated head-mounted temperature transmitters that convert the sensor signal to 4–20 mA directly at the measuring point with ±0.5 °C accuracy. The TY862 intelligent temperature transmitter pairs a PT100 input with a 4–20 mA output for direct connection to PLC and DCS systems. Thread and flange process connections, custom insertion lengths, explosion-proof heads and high-temperature cables are configured to order. Typical users are power plants, district heating networks, chemical and metallurgical plants, and food processing lines. Because sensors are built and calibrated in-house in Baoding, China, OEM and small-volume custom builds are routine, and every technical inquiry is answered within 24 hours.

How to choose

  • Local indication only — WSS bimetal (Φ60/Φ100/Φ150 dials) or WST digital thermometers; electric-contact versions add switching at a set temperature.
  • Signal to PLC/DCS — TY862 transmitter with PT100 element, 4–20 mA / HART / RS485 output and 0.2% accuracy.
  • High temperatures — thermocouples: type K up to 1200 °C, type S up to 1300 °C; armored sheaths for mechanical protection.
  • Process connection — threads M20×1.5/M27×2/G1/2, sanitary clamps or DN25–DN50 flanges; insertion length customizable.
