Pressure Transmitters

WELK Meters manufactures industrial pressure transmitters for gauge, absolute and differential pressure measurement, built around monocrystalline silicon, diffused-silicon and capacitive sensors. Ranges span from micro-pressure spans of a few kPa up to 100 MPa, with accuracy classes up to ±0.05% on the flagship TY813 monocrystalline silicon differential pressure transmitter and turndown ratios up to 100:1 on smart capacitive models. Standard output is 4–20 mA with optional HART communication; intrinsically safe (Ex ia) and flameproof (Ex d) versions, IP65–IP67 housings, diaphragm-seal and flange-diaphragm variants for corrosive, viscous or crystallizing media are all available from the factory. Typical applications include pump and pipeline monitoring, water and wastewater treatment, district heating networks, boilers and chemical processes. Because every transmitter is assembled and calibrated in our own facility in Baoding, China, custom ranges, process connections and private-label OEM builds are accepted from small volumes, with engineering replies within 24 hours.

Pressure Transmitter Buying Guide

A pressure transmitter converts process pressure into a standard electrical signal — typically 2-wire 4–20 mA, optionally with HART or RS485 — so PLCs, DCS and recorders can monitor and control a process. WELK Meters manufactures monocrystalline silicon and diffused-silicon transmitters for gauge, absolute, differential and remote-seal applications, with reference accuracy up to ±0.05% and ranges from 100 Pa to 100 MPa.

How to choose a pressure transmitter

  • Measurement type — gauge, absolute, vacuum, or differential pressure. Differential models (such as the TY813DP) also derive flow and tank level.
  • Range — select a nominal range so your normal operating point sits in the middle; consider turndown when conditions vary.
  • Accuracy — ±0.05%, ±0.1% or ±0.25% for monocrystalline silicon; ±0.25% / ±0.5% classes for compact diffused-silicon types like the TY812.
  • Process connection & wetted parts — M20×1.5, G1/2, NPT threads or DN25–DN100 flanges; 316L, Hastelloy C, tantalum or PTFE-coated diaphragms for corrosive media.
  • Temperature — direct-mount types serve -40–120 °C; capillary remote-seal versions handle media up to 420 °C.
  • Hazardous areas — choose intrinsically safe Ex ia IIC T6 Gb or flameproof Ex d IIC T6 Gb versions with IP66/IP67 housings.

Monocrystalline silicon vs diffused silicon

Monocrystalline (single-crystal) silicon sensors offer superior long-term stability and accuracy and excel in differential-pressure flow and level duty. Diffused-silicon designs such as the 2088-style TY812 are compact and economical for general gauge-pressure monitoring. Not sure which fits your process?
