Overview
The TY862 series intelligent temperature transmitter is an industrial temperature measuring instrument that uses a PT100 platinum resistance element to measure process temperature from -200 °C to 1300 °C and converts it into a standard 4–20 mA, 0–5 VDC or 0–10 VDC output, with optional RS485, RS232 and HART communication. Each unit is automatically tested by computer, and laser resistance-trimming technology performs zero-point and sensitive temperature compensation over a wide temperature range, fully exploiting the technical advantages of the sensing element.
The transmitter works on the resistance-temperature effect of the PT100 sensor: the change in resistance with temperature produces a differential voltage signal through a dedicated processing unit; this signal is then amplified, linearized against the corresponding range, and converted into standard analog or digital output signals. The TY862 also has strong anti-interference capability and self-diagnostics — it suppresses out-of-band noise to ensure data accuracy, and if the measured temperature goes outside the configured range, the single-chip system immediately issues an alarm command with an audible beep warning.
With excellent processing of cold-junction, over-range and temperature-drift effects, high stability and high measurement accuracy, the TY862 series is a wide-range temperature instrument well suited to industrial automation and temperature measurement in process fields.
