Overview
The WSS series bimetal thermometer is a mechanical dial thermometer for local temperature indication in industrial processes, covering measuring ranges from -80–40 °C up to 0–500 °C (depending on model) with accuracy class 1.5. It is available with Φ60, Φ100 and Φ150 mm dials and requires no external power supply.
The series includes radial (e.g. WSS-411), axial (e.g. WSS-401) and electric-contact (e.g. WSS-411X) forms. The electric-contact version provides switching/alarm output at a set temperature, making it suitable for simple on/off temperature control and alarm duties. Process connections include M16×1.5, M20×1.5, M27×2 and NPT threads, with stem diameters of Φ6 or Φ10 per the model table.
Model numbers follow the dial size: WSS-301/302/303, 311/312/313, 381/382/383 (Φ60 dial); WSS-401/402/403, 411/412/413, 481/482/483 (Φ100 dial); WSS-501/502/503, 511/512/513, 581/582/583 (Φ150 dial).
